How do you handle friends who aren't prioritizing academics and shame you for wanting to study?
I think that comes down to resisting peer pressure and focusing on yourself. You need to be able to have a conversation with your friends about managing time with them but also having time for yourself to focus on your studies. If you tell your friends your goals and what you are studying for, they should understand why you are prioritising academics. Your friends should support you.
what does ex-ib student mean? did you quit ib? or are you no longer in high school?

Hello😄 I’m about to start university soon I’m hoping to sign up for Communication studies then further in PR then International Relations. I would also like to do media, if possible. Oh and I’m also currently doing Spanish which has just started. Its a lot, I know but I’m shooting I’m from Trinidad 🇹🇹 and our education system is kind of different and even I didn’t know what we had. I would like to start my own study blog; since I love them so much,showing my journey with school. Any advice?
Hi! To be honest, I have been really really slack with my blog lately so I may not be the best person to give advice. It’s amazing that you have so many goals and passions, keep at them! Showcase them and interact with others who do similar things. However, it is also ok to take a lull in your blog. I have not posted at all recently. University and work were very overwhelming for a long time, so I took a break from posting for my own health. Focus on your studies and also your health <3
I’m starting IB next year, gotta any advice?
Be organised! The IB tends to be overwhelming for a lot of students, so keep on top of your work. Also, remember that it is a two-year program. Unfortunately, you don’t have the luxury of not studying Year 1 of content. That being said, it is ok to feel down sometimes, Your first marks will be a shock and it will seem demoralising, BUT KEEP GOING!! The IB is so valuable and it has definitely given me skills for university and work that another diploma wouldn’t have
